Terms of Research & Platform Usage
Last Updated: March 3, 2026
Welcome to AECO.digital. By accessing our platform, the Vetting Lab, or our Intelligence Hub, you agree to the following terms. These terms are structured to maintain the integrity of our independent research and provide a standardized framework for the AECO community.
1. Nature of the Intelligence Framework
AECO.digital provides independent technical validation, market forensics, and systems benchmarking.
- For Strategic Information Only: All ratings (Validation Matrix, Performance Index, etc.) are the result of our proprietary research methodology. They are provided for informational and educational purposes and do not constitute legal, financial, or licensed engineering advice.
- Operational Variance: While we adhere to rigorous validation standards, we do not guarantee that a technology will perform identically across all specific project environments or unique organizational constraints.
2. Intellectual Property & Technical Sovereignty
Our research and frameworks are the product of extensive R&D.
- Proprietary Datasets: The “A.d Validation Scores” and Engine Room datasets are the exclusive intellectual property of AECO.digital.
- Usage License: You are granted a non-exclusive, internal-use-only license to utilize our reports for organizational decision-making.
- Restrictions: You may not scrape, republish, or resell our technical reports. Automated harvesting or use of our data for the training of Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI systems is strictly prohibited without express written authorization.
3. Independence & Conflict Mitigation
We maintain absolute separation between our technical validations and market commercialization.
- Neutrality Mandate: We do not accept remuneration from technology vendors to influence their Readiness Score or placement within our registry.
- Technical Validation vs. Endorsement: A high validation score in the Vetting Lab indicates technical maturity—it is not a commercial endorsement, a recommendation for purchase, or a guarantee of vendor financial solvency.
4. User Conduct & Benchmark Integrity
To maintain the accuracy of our industry-wide metrics:
- Data Integrity: Users agree to provide accurate information during Digital Maturity Assessments to ensure the reliability of global industry benchmarks.
- Anonymized Aggregation: You acknowledge that your anonymized data may be synthesized into aggregate industry reports as defined in our Privacy & Data Sovereignty Policy.
5. Comprehensive Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AECO.digital (including its officers, employees, and affiliates) shall not be held liable for:
- Commercial Outcomes: Financial loss or missed ROI resulting from procurement decisions based on our research.
- Operational Failures: Project delays, data loss, or technology failures arising from the deployment of validated tools.
- Regulatory Non-Compliance: Users remain solely responsible for their legal and international trade compliance. Our checklists are research tools, not a substitute for legal counsel or certified compliance officers.
6. Technical Rebuttal & Dispute Resolution
Should a technology vendor wish to challenge a forensic validation rating:
- Evidence-Based Review: The vendor must submit documented technical evidence or provide a sandbox environment to demonstrate a factual error in our validation process.
- Research Autonomy: AECO.digital maintains final authority over our proprietary scoring and the application of our research methodology.
7. Evolutionary Updates
We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect shifts in the AECO technology landscape. Continued engagement with the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised research standards.
