The vendor problem

Firms won't buy what they can't defend.

AEC firms are under growing pressure to prove the AI tools they use are defensible — to their insurers, their licensing boards, and their clients. “Trust us, it's compliant” does not clear that bar. A capable tool can stall not because it is weak, but because the firm has no independent way to vet it against the standards they are held to.

What listing does

Distribution and credibility — the two hardest things to earn.

A registry listing carries both at once: you are seen where buyers are actively vetting AI tools, and what they see is independent validation instead of a marketing claim.

01

Get discovered

Your tool is listed in the registry AEC firms search when they procure AI tools, and surfaced in their side-by-side FitScore comparisons. You are in front of buyers who are actively vetting tools like yours.

02

Independent validation

A third-party ACS assessment against professional-liability standards — not a self-claim. In a market where every tool says it is "compliant," an independent assessment is what actually differentiates you.

03

Embed the proof

When your tool earns Stamp-Safe™, you get an embeddable badge for your own site and marketing — carrying AECO's independent validation outward to every buyer you talk to.

The process

From listing to Stamp-Safe.

Five steps. Editorial-mediated at every stage — no self-attested scores.

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Register your tool

Sign up as a vendor account and submit your tool with your vendor details, technology E&O and cyber coverage, and data-security information. The record initialises against the registry schema.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Editorial ACS assessment

AECO editorial assesses your tool against the ACS methodology (v3.4) — 22 questions across 7 liability layers, independent of any vendor input on the score.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Work the remediation roadmap

The assessment produces a gap-by-gap remediation roadmap — the specific next steps that would raise your score against the standards buyers are held to.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Submit evidence, get re-scored

As you close gaps, submit evidence through the vendor portal. AECO editorial reviews it and re-scores your tool against the updated evidence — the score reflects the work you have actually done.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Earn Stamp-Safe™ and get discovered

When your tool clears the Stamp-Safe thresholds, the badge appears on your registry entry and you receive an embeddable SVG for your own site and marketing. Buyers browsing the registry and running FitScore comparisons see the classification directly.

The honest bit

Earned, not bought.

The assessment is independent and editorial-mediated — it is not pay-to-win, and the badge is earned or it isn't. That is exactly what makes it worth something: a buyer trusts Stamp-Safe precisely because you cannot buy your way to it. When your tool earns it, the credibility is real.
